My Biography : Born in 1987 in Seoul, Sunyoung Moon is a Korean artist. From very early on, she became interested in creating something with her hands. Being praised by people opened her eyes to the bigger world of art and crafts. As a young girl, she became interested in how people react to each other. This is when she became interested in investigating people’s behaviors. She studied drawing and paintings at Incheon Catholic University in Korea before she transferred to Savannah College of Art and Design.
While most of her work has been executed through painting on canvas, she is also extending her thoughts through illustration and sculpture. Her works talk about universal emotions in an effort to connect with her viewers. The works are usually purposed to delight viewers even if some are meant to be sad.
